Katsuura Golf Club is a 27-hole facility located in Katsuura City, Chiba Prefecture, situated within the natural landscape of the Nanboso region. The course is divided into three distinct nine-hole loops named Tsutsuji, Satsuki, and Sakura, designed to accommodate golfers of varying skill levels. The layout includes a mix of par 3, par 4, and par 5 holes, with the Tsutsuji loop featuring a long 595-yard par 5 and a short 109-yard par 3, while the Sakura loop offers a 594-yard par 5 and a 182-yard par 3. The terrain is characterized by the rolling natural environment of the Nanboso area, which provides a setting for year-round play. The course structure allows for flexible routing, with each nine-hole loop capable of being played independently or combined for an 18-hole round. The yardages vary significantly across the different tee boxes-blue, white, and red-indicating a design that caters to both beginners and more experienced players seeking different levels of challenge. Tournament activity at the club is centered around amateur competitions organized by the Katsuura Golf Club itself. The venue hosts open competitions for amateur golfers, welcoming both individual players and multiple groups to participate in these events. The facility also supports casual play for families and couples, emphasizing a welcoming atmosphere for all types of golfers.
