Betchworth Park Golf Club

Surrey, England

Betchworth Park Golf Club was established in 1911 on the grounds of the former Betchworth Castle. The course was designed by renowned golf architect Harry S. Colt as a challenging parkland layout. It features delightful views of Box Hill and across the Mole Valley towards Reigate, offering an attractive setting within the Surrey landscape. The club has approximately 770 members across various categories, including dedicated women's and junior sections, alongside an academy for beginners. The course is characterized as a challenging parkland design, with recent member surveys identifying the friendly atmosphere and quality of the course as the club's greatest strengths. The club operates on a not-for-profit basis, reinvesting all surpluses for the benefit of members and visitors. Betchworth Park will host the England Golf Women's County Finals in July 2026, indicating the course's standing within amateur women's golf.
