XXXIV Solverde Cup

The Solverde Cup is an individual mid-amateur competition held over 36 holes (18 holes per day) on consecutive days, 9-10 October 2026, at Oporto Golf Club. The event is played in stableford format with both net and gross scoring. Open to all mid-amateur golfers who are affiliated with a national golf federation and hold an updated handicap. Maximum handicap index is 22; playing handicap is calculated at 95% of course handicap (players above the limit play off the maximum). Winners are declared in net and gross categories over the two days, with trophies awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. Prizes are awarded in the following order: 1st gross, 1st net, 1st senior gross, 1st senior net, 2nd gross, 2nd net, 3rd gross, 3rd net. In the event of a tie for first place gross, a sudden death playoff will be played on a course designated by the Technical Committee. For other places, ties are resolved by best score on the last 18 holes, last 9 holes, last 3 holes, last hole, or by draw. The Rules of Golf by The R&A (latest edition) apply, along with the Amateur Status Statute and any local rules approved by the Technical Committee. Entry fee is EUR 40 for Oporto Golf Club members and EUR 75 for non-members (visitors). Registration is via the club's online entry system.
