The Pro Shop Winter Open is a mixed 4-ball betterball stableford competition held at Fleetwood Golf Club on Friday 11th December 2026. Players compete from the Yellow tees (Men) and Red tees (Ladies). The handicap allowance is 85% of players' handicaps. The entry fee is £40 per pair. Entries are accepted online only via the club's website using a valid CDH number (Fully Developed Handicap Index required; iGolf members are not accepted at this time). Sign-up closes 4 days in advance of the event. The event is open to men and ladies (visitors and non-members welcome). Ties are decided by card play off. Players must walk during competitions; buggies may only be used by players with a medical certificate. Competitors are emailed pre-event information and the finalised start sheet. Tee times may be altered to ensure smooth running of events. Withdrawals with full refund are accepted up to the sign-up closing date; no-shows after that forfeit any refund. Independent 2s competition on the day is run by the Pro Shop.

Fleetwood Golf Club is a true links course located on the Lancashire coast in the northwest corner of the Fylde, near Blackpool and Lytham. The course stretches 6,521 yards and features a distinctive layout with a short par 4 opening hole that presents a birdie opportunity, followed by a closing hole designed as a risk-and-reward challenge to test longer hitters. As the only genuine links course on the Fylde coast, it offers an authentic seaside golf experience with the characteristic undulating terrain and coastal setting typical of links golf. The club has a rich history, with records indicating golf has been played at Fleetwood since 1861, when officers from the local barracks enjoyed the links. The course caters to both members and visitors, with professional instruction available through PGA staff and a well-stocked pro shop on-site. The club maintains an indoor practice facility for year-round game improvement.
