The Forbes Nissan Classic is a two-day golf event held on 14th and 15th November 2026 at Forbes Golf Course. The event is open to men and women with a GA Handicap. On Saturday 14th November, a 4BBB (betterball) Scratch/Handicap Stableford competition is held with an entry fee of $30 per player. On Sunday 15th November, an individual 18-hole strokeplay event is held with an entry fee of $45. The individual event features A, B & C grades for Juniors, Vets, Visitors & Ladies. Registrations open from Saturday 3rd October. Entry is handled through the Pro Shop by phone or in person.

Forbes Golf Course is an 18-hole championship course located on the northern side of Forbes, NSW, beside the Newell Highway. The par 72 layout stretches 6,100 meters and features four par 3s (130-192m), ten par 4s (311-411m), and four par 5s (419-493m), with slope ratings of 123 for men and 116 for women. The course is distinguished by its natural watercourse, which forms part of Lake Forbes and bisects several holes that players cross four times during a round. Fully watered fairways and greens are maintained throughout the course. Following the installation of a $400,000 irrigation system in 2012, the club has significantly improved and is now regarded as one of the best country courses in NSW. The course hosts regular men's and ladies competitions, including key events such as the Forbes Nissan Classic and Open tournaments. It also accommodates Pro-Am events and runs various programs including junior competitions, veterans events, and charity tournaments. The Forbes Golf and Sportsman's Hotel is conveniently located adjacent to the course.
