Hampshire, England

Corhampton Golf Club is an 18-hole course located on chalk foundations in an area of outstanding natural beauty near Southampton, Hampshire. Founded in 1891, it ranks among the top 10 courses in Hampshire. The course benefits from exceptional drainage due to its chalk base, allowing play throughout the year in mud-free conditions. The layout combines natural contours, mature woodland, and strategically placed bunkers to challenge golfers of all handicap levels. Set in the Hampshire countryside, the course offers stunning views across hills, valleys, and woodlands, creating an aesthetically pleasing setting for play. The chalk foundations provide the course's defining characteristic-superior drainage that enables consistent playability regardless of weather conditions. This geological advantage ensures the course remains accessible during winter months when many courses become waterlogged.
