Wednesday Golf

Onsdagsgolfen is Carlskrona GK's popular weekly individual competition held every Wednesday from April to September. The V.S.O.P (Valfri Start Och Partner) format allows players to choose their start time between 08:00-17:50 and compete on any Wednesday they wish during the season. Separate men's and ladies' classifications are maintained, with the 10 best results counting towards the season standings. A final is held on a Sunday in September. The entry fee is 60 SEK per competition. The competition is open to all golfers with no start restrictions. Physical scorecards are required for the individual competition. Prize balls are distributed weekly to the best results. A two-man team betterball competition is also available at 200 SEK for the season. Nearest hole competition is held on hole 15 each week. An Eclectic competition is also available at 100 SEK per person for the season. Registration is via GIT or phone, with a deadline typically at 12:00 two days before the competition. A minimum of 21 participants is required for the competition to proceed. Handicap classes follow the club's general rules (A-D, up to 54).
