Fort McDowell, AZ, United States

We-Ko-Pa Golf Club is a 36-hole championship facility located in Fort McDowell, Arizona, just outside Scottsdale, set within the pristine Sonoran Desert. The course features two distinct designs: the Cholla Course, designed by Scott Miller, and the Saguaro Course, designed by Coore and Crenshaw. Both courses rank among the finest in the southwestern United States and are characterized by their undeveloped setting with no homes, roads, or businesses-offering golfers an immersive desert experience. The facility is recognized as Arizona's premier public golf destination, consistently ranking in national and regional best-course lists. The Cholla Course has earned recognition as a Top 100 You Can Play and has ranked in Golf Digest's Best in State. The Saguaro Course has achieved similar accolades, including Golfweek's No. 1 ranking for Arizona state courses and Golf Digest's America's 100 Greatest Public Courses. Both courses showcase the dramatic desert landscape with vibrant colors and mountain views, providing challenging yet playable layouts that appeal to golfers of varying skill levels. The courses are complemented by practice facilities and instruction programs.
