Open Mixed 4BBB Pairs stableford competition at Charnwood Forest Golf Course on Sunday 9th May 2027. Pairs format (gentleman and lady) playing 4-ball betterball stableford. Entry fee is £60 per pair, which includes a one-course meal after golf. Tee times from 12:00. Maximum entries: 52. All entrants must have a valid CONGU handicap (CDH number) and must have recorded at least 3 acceptable scores in the 12 months prior to the competition date. Maximum playing handicaps: 28 for gentlemen, 36 for ladies. 85% handicap allowance. In the event of abandonment, the result stands if at least 50% of teams have completed their round. No refunds for withdrawals within 7 days of the competition. Sign-ups open at 12:00 am on 30th December 2026.

Charnwood Forest Golf Club is the oldest golf club in Leicestershire, established in 1890. The course is a 9-hole heathland layout designed to maximize the natural environment of the beautiful Leicestershire countryside. The design was later influenced by James Braid, a renowned Scottish golf architect known for his contributions to classic course design. Set amongst rolling hills, the course offers outstanding views across the Leicestershire landscape. The terrain and heathland setting create a challenging yet scenic playing experience. The course is situated in Woodhouse Eaves, near Loughborough, in a particularly picturesque part of the region. The club maintains its reputation as a friendly venue welcoming both members and visitors. The course's natural heathland characteristics, combined with its undulating terrain and rolling hillside setting, provide distinctive playing conditions that test golfers while showcasing the area's natural beauty. The course remains in regular play and is maintained to high standards throughout the year.
