December Birthday Competition

The December Birthday Competition is a 9-hole stableford event held at Kamakura Country Club on December 24, 2026 (Thursday). The competition uses the New Perier scoring system with a W par cut and a maximum handicap of 36. When net scores are tied, the player with the lower handicap ranks higher. Players may place balls within 6 inches in the general area and use a single grip on the green. Men play from the white tees and women from the red tees. The entry fee is 3,300 JPY (tax included), which includes a lunch subsidy of 1,500 JPY (2nd floor lunch menu only) and a dessert set. Scores are entered via Cart Nav; any corrections must be reported to the master room after 18 holes. Prizes include a participation prize for all entrants, prizes for 1st through 10th place, men's and women's betterball categories, and a long drive prize. No post-play party is held; after completing the round, players receive their scorecards at the 2nd floor restaurant along with the dessert set. Golfers born in December receive a special gift. Booking is available by phone at 0467-43-1716. Members born in the event month may book one group three months prior to the event date; general booking opens two months prior, with up to two players per booking.
