The Verulam Senior Open 2027 is a stableford competition (85% handicap allowance) for senior men, held at Verulam Golf Club on Thursday 8th July 2027. The event is open to men (senior category) with a maximum of 75 entries. Entry fee is £187.50 per team, payable on entry. American Express cards are not accepted. Signings open at 7:30 am on 9th November 2026.

Verulam Golf Club is a par 72 course designed by James Braid in 1905, located in St Albans, Hertfordshire, in the heart of the historic town of Verulamium. The course is celebrated as the home of the Ryder Cup-the trophy was donated in 1927 by Samuel Ryder, a St Albans seed merchant and club captain, for the first official match between Great Britain and the United States. The club has operated as a thriving members' club for well over a century. Described as a mature course, it features well-maintained tee boxes, greens, and bunkers. While characterized as relatively short, it presents a challenging layout that remains a consistent test of golf. The course is situated in a pleasant setting typical of the Hertfordshire landscape, offering a welcoming environment for both members and visitors.
