The Parkes Open 36-Hole Tournament is a strokeplay competition held over two days (Saturday and Sunday) at Parkes Golf Club. The event is open to male golfers only, with no handicap limit. Entry for the Saturday and Sunday combo is $100 AUD. Players must have a current Golf Link card or appropriate handicap card. Entries are made online via the Parkes Open website, closing at 5:00 PM on the Friday prior to the event. The field is limited to the first 256 paid entries. Ties are decided by sudden death playoff or Golf Australia's Countback System depending on the division. Long Drive and Straight Drive competitions are also held on Saturday and Sunday respectively, sponsored by Bridgestone Mining.
