JGM Kasama Golf Club is a 27-hole hillside course designed by renowned architect Pete Dye, located in Sakuragawa, Ibaraki Prefecture. The course features 10,362 yards with a par of 108, offering a challenging and strategic layout with course ratings of 72.6-72.8 depending on the nine-hole combination played. The design is characterized by beautiful undulations that harmonize with the natural landscape, creating curved aesthetic lines throughout. The course presents significant strategic demands through carefully positioned bunkers bordered by railway sleepers and strategically placed water hazards that challenge golfers to think tactically about their approach to each hole. The clubhouse, designed by modernist architect Antonin Raymond's firm, features an attractive copper-tiled roof and provides a welcoming, hospitable atmosphere. The facility includes a 300-yard driving range with 19 bays plus dedicated practice areas for approach shots and bunker play. The on-site restaurant is recognized among Japan's top 30 golf courses for dining quality, emphasizing local ingredients and seasonal menus, with popular luxury lunch buffets offered several times annually.
