The Mixed Team Open is a stableford competition held at Walmley Golf Club on Sunday 25th July 2027. It is a mixed-gender event open to both men and ladies. The format consists of teams of four players (two ladies and two gentlemen), with one gentleman's score and one lady's score counting on each hole (betterball format). Gentlemen play from the white tees using the men's stroke index, while ladies play from the red tees using the ladies' stroke index. The handicap allowance is 85%. Men must have a maximum playing handicap of 25 and a Handicap Index of no more than 24.8; ladies must have a maximum playing handicap of 33 and a Handicap Index of no more than 32.9. Entry fees are £196 per team for all-visitor teams, £164 per team for all-member teams, and additional fees apply for teams with a mix of members and visitors (£8 for one visitor, £16 for two visitors, £24 for three visitors). The entry fee includes a breakfast bap and hot drink on arrival, plus a one-course meal after golf. Players must have submitted a minimum of 4 acceptable scores in the 12 months prior to the competition to be eligible for a prize. Entries open online at 8:00 am on 1st January 2027. No refunds are given within 7 days of the competition date.
