The Brampton Heath Winter Series is a series of individual stableford competitions held at Brampton Heath Golf Centre. The 2026/27 series runs from October 2025 through March 2027, comprising six events. Each event features an Order of Merit across the series. The competition is open to golfers with handicaps of 28 or less. Entry includes bacon rolls and coffee. Prize funds of up to £1,000 are available for each event. All prize winners must have at least 3 competition scores on their WHS record over the past 12 months. Tee times can be booked from 4 weeks prior to each event. Entries can be made as a single player or in groups. The specific event on Wednesday 17th February 2027 is one of the six scheduled dates in this series.

Brampton Heath Golf Centre is a family-owned golf facility located two miles from Northampton town centre, built in 1995. The venue features 27 holes comprising an 18-hole championship course and a 9-hole par 3 short course suitable for beginners and family golf. The 18-hole course overlooks the Northampton skyline and presents a challenging layout with a mix of long and short holes designed to accommodate golfers of all abilities. The facility includes an 18-bay driving range with complimentary clubs available for practice. The recently refurbished clubhouse provides dining options with home-cooked meals and beverages. Brampton Heath serves as the county's busiest golf centre, with a strong membership base and popularity among casual visitors. The par 3 course is also available for footgolf. The venue hosts regular competitions, including winter series events, and welcomes societies and group visitors.
