Described as "an instant American classic" by Golf Architecture Editor Ran Morrissett, the layout incorporates the natural dune terrain along Lake Michigan. The venue functions as both a championship golf course and gathering place for patriots, featuring the CAVU Fighter Squadron Bar and hosting televised events on the Golf Channel. American Dunes has contributed over $3.5 million to Folds of Honor in its first four years of operation, demonstrating its commitment to supporting military families while providing a unique golfing experience.
