Senior Mixed Greensome Pairs Stableford competition held at Shirley Golf Club on Wednesday 9 September 2026. The event is restricted to players aged 55 years or over. Mixed pairs compete in a Greensomes format: both players tee off on each hole, the best drive is selected, and players then alternate shots from that point using the red tees and red par/stroke index for both players. Handicap allowances are 60% of the lower handicap and 40% of the higher handicap. Entry fee is £30 for members and £40 for visitors, which includes tea/coffee and a one-course meal after the round. Entrants must be a current member of an affiliated golf club and have returned a minimum of 6 acceptable scores for handicap purposes in the preceding 12 months to be eligible for main prizes. Each pair may only win one pair prize and each player may only win one single prize (e.g., Nearest the Pin). There is a minimum number of tee shots each player in the team must take throughout the round.
