Kooyonga Golf Club

South Australia, Australia

Kooyonga Golf Club is a championship golf course located in undulating sand hills just 15 minutes from Adelaide's central business district in South Australia. Established in 1923, the course was developed on land originally known as May's Paddock, transforming swamp and sand dune country into a premier golfing venue. The club has hosted numerous international and interstate championships and maintains a high ranking among Australia's private golf clubs. The course is characterized by its sandy, undulating terrain typical of the Adelaide Hills landscape. The modern clubhouse features traditional elements and offers sweeping panoramic views of the course from its dining areas and terraces. Kooyonga is recognized as a championship-standard layout and has consistently attracted elite tournaments throughout its history. The combination of challenging sand hill terrain, championship-caliber design, and premium facilities has established it as one of Australia's leading private golf clubs. The course's natural setting and design make it a distinctive golfing destination in South Australia.
