The Bottle Lake Spring Classic 2026 is a two-day team golf event held at Bottle Lake Golf Club over Labour Weekend, 24-25 October 2026. Saturday features a 4BBB Stableford format and Sunday a Combined Stableford format. There are $7,000 worth of prizes, a monster raffle, and a party hole on the 16th. Early bird entry is $180 per pair until 25 September at 5pm; standard entry is $190 per pair thereafter. Entries are limited to 120 pairs. Waikouaiti Golf Club is a nine-hole country course located near the beach in Waikouaiti, offering panoramic views of the lagoon with abundant bird life. The course features 18 holes of play through the use of different tee blocks for the second nine, with a total distance of 5,126 yards and par of 70. The front and back nines each play to par 35. The course has a Course Rating of 66.8 with a Slope Rating of 113, indicating moderate difficulty. The layout includes a mix of hole lengths and challenges, with par-5s at holes 1 and 10, par-3s at holes 5, 9, 13, and 17, and several par-4s throughout. Notable features include the scenic lagoon views and the All Abilities Friendly designation with wheelchair ramp access. The club maintains an active competition programme with regular weekly competitions on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, welcoming both men and women members. The club hosts tournaments throughout the year and currently has 135 members. Green fees are affordable at $25 per person for 18 holes.
