The Gents Senior Open is a singles stableford competition open to men seniors at Milngavie Golf Club on Monday 7th September 2026. The event is fully open to visiting non-member golfers. Entry is via online booking through the club's visitor booking system. The visitor entry fee is £25.00 (members pay £15.00). Golfers must hold a handicap of 28 or less (men) or 36 or less (ladies), or be able to play to an equivalent standard. Tee times are available from 07:36 through the day, with groups of up to four players per tee time.

Milngavie Golf Club offers multiple measured courses accommodating golfers of all abilities. The main course features six tee options ranging from the Black Tee Championship course at 6,014 yards, Par 70, to the White Tee Medal course at 5,867 yards, Par 69, used for most club competitions. The Blue Tee measures 5,653 yards, Par 68, while the Yellow Tee is similarly configured at 5,611 yards. The Green Tee provides a Par 71 ladies course at 5,336 yards, and a Red Tee nine-hole short course of 1,800 yards, Par 34, serves beginners and junior coaching. Located in Milngavie, the club provides comprehensive practice facilities including a bookable practice area and putting green. The clubhouse features two lounges, locker and changing areas with shower facilities, and a trolley shed. Members benefit from access to The John Toye Golf Studio, which includes two golf simulator bays and a practice putting facility. The facility design allows both members and visitors to select appropriate tee positions for their skill level.
