Highland Walk Golf Course at Victoria Bryant State Park is an 18-hole course located minutes north of Athens and Commerce off I-85 in Royston, Georgia. The course features a par-72 layout stretching 6,421 yards with a rating of 71.4 and slope of 133. Built on steep rolling hills, Highland Walk showcases broad, crowned Bermuda fairways that lead to generous, sloping Bermuda greens. Despite its aesthetic appeal, the course presents significant challenge, demanding accurate shot-making for competitive scoring. The terrain and design create a demanding experience for golfers of varying skill levels. The course has earned notable recognition, including Georgia State Parks' 2021 Outstanding Golf Course of the Year Award and ranking 25th out of 207 Georgia courses in the 2021 Golfers' Choice list. In 2020, it was named one of Golf Now's "Top 25 courses in Georgia." The facility hosted more than 21,000 rounds in 2020 and continues to maintain active tournament and event programming, including junior golf camps and various competitions throughout the year.
