Onsdagsgolfen (Wednesday Golf) is a weekly individual strokeplay competition held at Åkagårdens Golfklubb on Wednesdays throughout the season (April to September). The event is organized by Åkagårdens Herrgolfare (the men's golf committee) and is open to all male senior golfers. Players compete in two classes based on exact handicap: A-class (8.0-17.9) and B-class (18.0-40.0). Each player chooses their tee (red, blue, or yellow) before each round. The competition is played as 18-hole strokeplay with net score counting, with a maximum exact handicap of 40.0 (players with a handicap over 40.0 play at 40.0). Entry is made online via MinGolf, with payment of 50 SEK per round when pre-purchasing at least five rounds, or 55 SEK per single round. Payment is via Swish to 123 243 22 92. Ten SEK from each round fee goes to Stefan Paulsson's Cancer Foundation, 10 SEK to weekly competition prizes, and 15 SEK to the season-ending lunch. Digital score entry is used via a link sent by email on Tuesday evenings. Players can book free start times via MinGolf by Tuesday noon, or enter the morning draw (08:00-09:00) by Sunday noon. Season concludes with an awards ceremony and lunch on October 3, 2026.
