The club is a semi-private facility with public tee times available; visitors are welcome to play and participate in events by registering in the pro shop and paying applicable green fees.

Madison Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole, par 71 regulation course located in eastern South Dakota, featuring a scenic 6,132-yard layout. The semi-private course is set on rolling terrain with stunning views of Lake Herman and integrates natural woodland and grass habitats throughout. The design incorporates subtle elevation changes, strategically placed bunkers, and numerous water features including ponds and creeks that challenge golfers navigating the course. Known for its demanding design, MCC boasts one of the highest slope ratings in South Dakota (130 blue, 126 white, 122 red), making it challenging despite its moderate yardage. The course's signature features include four of the state's toughest par threes, par fours with blind tee shots requiring precision, and risk-reward par fives. The professionally maintained layout accommodates golfers of all skill levels while offering a shot-maker's experience. The combination of elevation changes, natural hazards, and strategic bunkering creates a comprehensive test of both technical ability and course management.
