The greenkeepers will set up the course in a fun, unusual way with altered tees, fairways, and greens. Play is in individual stableford format with bonus points possible. The event is not countable for handicap purposes. Entry is via Golfbox with a maximum of 100 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. The tournament will not be held if fewer than 80 players enter. Start times are available from 8:00, with info at 8:30 and gun start at 9:00. After the round, there is dining in the restaurant, with priority seating for members who purchase meals with their entry. There is an elevated tournament fee due to the small catering provided by the greenkeepers. Visitors are welcome to enter this open competition.

Golfklubben Hedeland

Region Hovedstaden, Denmark

Hedeland Golfbane is a distinctive 18-hole course located within the recreational area of Hedeland Naturpark. The layout is set in a varied, hilly landscape characterized by slopes, artificial lakes, and streams. The course is known for its rich bird and animal life, with visitors often encountering species such as northern harriers, common buzzards, and grey herons. The club also maintains a separate nine-hole par-3 course, the Maglehøjbanen, which is situated around the old burial mound Maglehøj and is rated by the Danish Golf Union (DGU) for handicap regulation purposes. The course design incorporates the natural topography of the park, requiring players to navigate elevation changes and water features. The grounds are maintained by a dedicated greenkeeping team to ensure the course remains in good condition for members and guests. The club has a long history, having celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2005, with the development of the course documented by former chairmen in a commemorative publication. Hedeland Golfklub participates in various competitive formats, including the Danish Championship (Danmarksturnering) and regional team events. The club also hosts internal competitions such as the Old Timer, Hedemænd, and Klub 37 tournaments, alongside junior and par competitions. The course is open to guests, who can book tee times through Golfbox during the season from April to September.
