The Charity Open is a mixed team betterball Stableford competition held on Sunday 16 August 2026 at Stanton-on-the-Wolds Golf Club. The event starts at 13:30 with a shotgun start. Gents play from the white tees and ladies from the red tees. The competition is played as any combination better-ball stableford with an 85% handicap allowance. Maximum playing handicaps are 28 for gents and 36 for ladies. No iGolf entries are accepted; all entrants must hold an official CONGU handicap and must have played at least 5 qualifying rounds in the last 12 months to be eligible for prizes. The entry fee is £35.00 per person (£70 per pair), which includes a one-course meal with a choice of chicken breast in mushroom and tarragon sauce with crushed new potatoes and tender stem broccoli, or a vegetarian beetroot wellington option with the same sides. Entries must be booked online via HowDidiDo by 12 August 2026. The event is open to visitors and non-members.
