The Dave Jennings Memorial Parent-Child Tournament is a family golf event held at Bowen Island Golf Course on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, starting at 3:00 pm with a shotgun start. The event is open to everyone and features a 4-Person Texas Scramble format. Teams of 2 or 4 are accepted: teams of 4 must include at least one junior (18 or under), while teams of 2 can be two adults as long as they are a parent-child team, and these will be paired with another team of 2 that includes a junior. Tee assignments are based on age and handicap. Entry fee is $50 CAD per adult (19+) and $25 CAD per junior (18 or under). A buffet meal is included at The Shed after the round, featuring gourmet hot dogs and potatoes. The event has a capacity of 60 players and includes fun competitions and prizes. Registration closes on August 26, 2026. The theme for 2026 is 'CANADA-EH!' encouraging participants to wear red and white.
