The Captains Charity Day is a Mixed Betterball Stableford competition held at Stoke Rochford Golf Club on Friday 2nd October 2026. It is an open competition and visitors are allowed to enter. Men play from the Yellow tees on the SRGC course, and ladies play from the Red tees. Entry closes on 30 September 2026 at 18:00. The visitor fee is £40.00.

Stoke Rochford Golf Club is a parkland course situated within the historic Stoke Rochford Estate, located six miles south of Grantham in Lincolnshire, just off the A1(N). Founded in 1924 and designed by Colonel Stafford Vere Hotchkin, the renowned architect also responsible for Woodhall Spa, the course flows through spectacular countryside. The layout features several holes around and across the Cringle Brook, incorporating diverse flora and fauna throughout. The course is renowned for its exceptional year-round playability, benefiting from excellent drainage that ensures golf is possible in all but the most extreme conditions, with temporary greens rarely required. Stoke Rochford offers a challenge suitable for golfers of all ages and abilities. The club has hosted the Midland Golf Union's Youth Championship annually since 1983, establishing itself as a strong test for elite junior players. The course was named East Midlands Golf Club of the Year in 2024, marking its centenary year. In May 2024, it hosted a regional final for England Golf's Race to Woodhall Spa championship.
