The two par 5 holes-the 8th at 440 metres and the 12th at 427 metres-offer particular challenge for skilled players. The layout is described as an easy walk, making it ideal for recreational golfers. Recognized as one of South Australia's best country courses and noted as the state's best winter course, the club features immaculate fairways and greens. The modern clubhouse overlooks the course and includes dining facilities and covered terraces. The club welcomes visitors and hosts regular competitions on Tuesdays (women), Wednesdays (men), and Saturdays, along with corporate and group golf packages.
