Kilspindie Golf Club

Aberlady, East Lothian, Scotland

Kilspindie Golf Club is a traditional Scottish links course located near Aberlady village, nestled within the Aberlady Bay nature reserve overlooking the Firth of Forth. The course is characterized as a short but charming links layout that offers challenge across all skill levels. Set on the banks of the Firth of Forth, the course provides distinctive views of Edinburgh's skyline, its castle, and Arthur's Seat in the distance. The setting is notable for its integration with the natural environment, where golfers may encounter sea-birds, migratory geese, and seals while playing. The course is accessed via a private single-track road that maintains its secluded character away from the village. Described as "a perfect links in miniature" and ranked among Golf.com's best sub-6000 yard courses globally, Kilspindie is recognized for its fair design and engaging play. Today's Golfer named it the "17th Most Fun Course to play in the UK and Ireland" in 2021. The course has earned recognition as one of Scotland's hidden gems, known equally for its challenging layout and welcoming atmosphere to visitors.
