Couples Friday Night Golf is a regular seasonal event at Mesaba Country Club in Hibbing, Minnesota, held approximately every two weeks during the summer. Couples (two players) sign up for reserved tee times from 4:08 to 5:36. Participants are paired with another couple by the committee, or may sign up as a foursome with another couple of their choosing. The competition typically uses a scramble format with an optional $5 game per couple. After the round, the on-site restaurant offers a Friday night fish fry at a special deal, or guests may order from the regular menu.
