Guest Tournament

9-hole guest tournament (Gästeturnier) at Golfodrom Engled, part of the Quellness Golf Resort Bad Griesbach. Open to club members and visiting golfers with a valid course booking. Played as 9-hole strokeplay in Stableford format, with starts from approximately 09:00. Handicap groups are assigned based on the player's handicap: Group A (0-18.4), Group B (18.5-26.4), Group C (26.5-36), and Group D (37-54), all playing from the yellow/red tees. Prizes are awarded for gross winner and net winners per group (up to 90 participants for one net group prize, additional net group prize from 91 participants). Ties are decided by playoff holes using the handicap allocation order 1/18/3/16/5/14/7/12/9. Registration closes at 12:00 on the day before the tournament. Entry fee is €12 for members, €37 for hotel guests (Maximilian, Fürstenhof, Das Ludwig) and Gutshof guests (Brunnwies, Penning, Uttlau), €42 for general guests including green fee, and €6 plus green fee for young players (under 18, or students up to age 27 who receive 50% green fee discount). Maximum 120 participants, allocated on receipt of registration. Prize presentation takes place immediately after the competition in the Restaurant Holzmichl. Play follows the Official Golf Rules (including Amateur Status) of DGV/BGV and the World Handicap System.
