Guest Tournament

The Gästeturnier (Guest Tournament) is a weekly open competition held at Allfinanz Golfplatz Brunnwies, part of the Quellness Golf Resort in Bad Griesbach. The event is played as an 18-hole strokeplay competition using the Stableford scoring system. It is open to all golfers, including club members and visiting guests, with a maximum of 120 participants. Players are divided into four handicap groups: Group A (handicap 0-18.4), Group B (18.5-26.4), Group C (26.5-36), and Group D (37-54). Prizes are awarded to the top finishers in each group - one gross winner and two net winners per group for events with up to 90 participants, and three net winners per group for events with 91 or more participants. Ties are broken using a hole-by-hole playoff procedure based on the standard handicap allocation (holes 1, 18, 3, 16, 5, 14, 7, 12, 9). Entry must be made by email to golf-turniere@quellness-golf.com by 12:00 on the day before the tournament. Entry fees are €12 for members, €101 for hotel guests (Maximilian, Fürstenhof, Das Ludwig, and Gutshof properties), €123 for general guests including green fee, and €6 for youth players plus green fee. Golf carts can be reserved by the entry deadline on a weather-dependent basis. The competition follows the official DGV/BGV Golf Rules and the World Handicap System. Prize presentation takes place immediately after the competition at Gutshof Brunnwies.
