Niederrheinischer Golfclub Duisburg e.V. is a 9-hole golf course established in 1956, located in southern Duisburg near the Regattabahn within the 6-Seen-Platte recreational area. The course features a park-like character surrounded by mature trees in a landscape shaped by the region's industrial heritage. The layout presents a challenging design, particularly from the back tees. Course ratings reflect this difficulty, with a CR of 72.0 for men and 73.6 for women, accompanied by high slope ratings of 133 for men and 132 for women, making it demanding for accomplished golfers. The course is set within a scenic area of six lakes and maintains a family-oriented atmosphere. The club emphasizes tradition and respectful relationships among members. Play is available on trolleys when conditions permit, though frost and rime ice periodically close the course during winter months. The club is celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2026 with special tournaments scheduled for late June through early July.
