The Richard Eyles Gold Medal 2027 is a 36-hole individual strokeplay competition played over the Blue and Red courses at Frilford Heath Golf Club from the Black Tee. The event is open to men with a maximum handicap of 8.0, with a 95% handicap allowance applied. The maximum field size is 72 players; if entries exceed this limit, higher handicaps will be eliminated by ballot based on WHS handicap index updated at midnight on the closing date. Entry fee is £95 for visitors and £35 for members. Tee times are allocated in reverse handicap order from the 1st and 10th tees. Catering includes a bacon roll and coffee on arrival, with a one-course meal served after the round. Entries close at 23:59 on Wednesday 27th May 2027. Sign-ups open at 12:01am on 5th October 2026. Golfers must abide by the club's code of conduct and zero tolerance policy.
