Forres Golf Club

Moray, Scotland

Forres Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course located in Moray in the Scottish Highlands, approximately 25 minutes from Inverness Airport. Designed by Willie Park and later refined by James Braid, the course blends strategic design with natural beauty and immaculate conditioning. The course is set within a picturesque Highland landscape featuring mountains, coastal views, and benefits from a favorable microclimate that keeps it drier and brighter than much of the UK. The terrain offers variety and character throughout the round, with the 16th hole, known as 'Pond', standing out as a signature feature. Forres has hosted major Scottish tournaments and is consistently highly rated by visiting golfers. The course welcomes players of all skill levels and maintains excellent practice facilities. Beyond golf, the club features The Muiry Clubhouse, offering dining and bar facilities with panoramic views, and provides accommodation options for visitors. The surrounding area offers additional attractions including distilleries, beaches, castles, and walking trails, making it suitable for extended golf breaks.
