Sweetens Cove Golf Club

South Pittsburg, TN, United States

Designed by King Collins Dormer Golf Course Design and opened in 2014, Sweetens Cove is a 9-hole course featuring wildly contoured greens, elaborate bunkering, and immense, tightly mown fairways. The course has a par of 36 and extends to 3,301 yards. Nestled in Tennessee's scenic Sequatchie Valley, just 25 minutes from Chattanooga, the course offers four sets of tees ranging from 2,272 to 3,301 yards to accommodate all skill levels. The course features generous fairways and massive, undulating greens that reward imagination and creativity. The course emphasizes shot making, strategy, and fun over traditional length and difficulty. The course offers numerous alternative routings, allowing it to be played several ways. The nine-holer is probably the buzziest nine-hole course in the U.S. The course has been featured in The New York Times and is rated by Golfweek as the 50th ranked Modern Course in the United States. Sweetens Cove received the highest average rating of all golf courses in Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana in The Confidential Guide to Golf Courses, v. 2, and received Golfweek's rating of #1 'Course You Can Play' in Tennessee for 2016, 2017 and 2018.
