Okazaki Kogen Country Club

Okazaki Kogen Country Club is a 18-hole golf course located in Okazaki, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. The course is designed with a layout where each hole is completely separated by trees, creating a distinct atmosphere for every round. A unique feature of the facility is the management of turf conditions through the use of two greens for each hole, allowing for better maintenance and playability. The course offers flexibility in its configuration; when playing the full 18 holes, the front nine and back nine tees can be swapped to create different routing combinations. The standard 18-hole layout measures 4,484 yards from the yellow tees and plays to a par of 65. The course features a mix of hole lengths, with seven of the 12 holes in the primary sequence classified as mid-length holes, providing opportunities for drivers. The front nine totals 1,597 yards from the yellow tees with a par of 22, while the back nine measures 1,285 yards from the same tees with a par of 21. The course includes a variety of par 3s and par 4s, with handicap ratings assigned to each hole to assist players in navigating the course. The setting is characterized by green tree lines that enclose the fairways and greens, contributing to the secluded feel of the individual holes. The club facility is surrounded by these green woods, with the clubhouse housing a restaurant on the first floor and a viewing bath on the second floor that overlooks the course. The location is accessible from the Okazaki Interchange via the Tomei Expressway, situated in a area that blends natural surroundings with convenient access to the city.
