Yoshikawa Inter Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course located in Miki City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. Designed by the Taisei Corporation Design Department in collaboration with Y's Contour Magic, the layout offers a total yardage ranging from 4,777 yards from the pink tees to 6,820 yards from the black tees. The course features five distinct tee boxes-black, blue, white, red, and pink-allowing players of varying skill levels to adjust the difficulty. The men's course ratings range from 70.3 to 72.1, while the women's ratings range from 66.8 to 75.4. The front nine presents a mix of accessible and demanding holes, starting with a par-4 first hole that encourages a safe drive to the right side to avoid left-side trouble. The third hole, a 525-yard par-5 from the black tees, offers a long drive opportunity with a slightly downhill second shot. The back nine introduces more significant challenges, highlighted by the 14th hole, which is described as the most difficult on the course. This par-4 features an uphill second shot and a green with severe undulations that resemble potato chips, requiring precise distance control. Wind plays a critical role in the course strategy, particularly on the approach shots of the sixth and ninth holes. The 17th hole, a 556-yard par-5, demands a safe drive to the right side to avoid deep fairway bunkers on the left, followed by a challenging approach to a strongly sloped green. The course also features unique design elements, such as the use of wicker baskets instead of traditional flags, paying homage to the Scottish origins of the game. The greens are noted for their speed, with the seventh hole’s green described as deceptively flat but extremely fast from the back.
