The Otake Bariyoka Competition is a 9-hole individual stableford (W-PERIA) competition held at Odake Short Course. The event is open to all golfers from just one person; no advance booking is required but entry is on a reservation basis with a capacity of 20 players. The format is 9-hole W-PERIA (betterball) stableford. Entry includes free play (no green fee) plus the cost of a round; participants pay the standard playing fee. The event takes place on 17 September 2026, with assembly at 10:30 and a 11:00 start. Prizes include the overall winner award and a draw prize on the day (Amazon gift cards and playing vouchers). Cart use is available. Note that competition may be cancelled on the day depending on participant numbers or weather conditions - contact the course on the day for confirmation. Prizes are redeemable as playing vouchers at Saitozaki SCC.

While most holes fall within the 100 to 170-yard range, the local wind conditions can be strong enough to require over 200 yards of distance on certain holes. The course layout features a variety of yardages, with the longest hole reaching 162 yards and the shortest measuring just 97 yards. The design incorporates these varying lengths to provide a diverse experience within a compact nine-hole structure.
