Scott Schreiner Golf Course

Scott Schreiner Municipal Golf Course is a historic Hill Country layout with roots dating back to the 1920s, located in Kerrville, Texas. The course has undergone significant renovations as of 2025, featuring refreshed greens and improved playability while maintaining its classic character. The design combines championship-level architecture with the natural Texas Hill Country landscape, offering scenic views throughout the round. The terrain takes advantage of the rolling hill topography characteristic of the region, creating varied elevation changes that challenge golfers of different skill levels. The course is known for delivering memorable views and strategic hole designs that appeal to both competitive players and those seeking a scenic golfing experience. Scott Schreiner hosts the Heart of the Hills tournament in July and other competitive events throughout the year. As a municipal facility, it serves both public and member golfers, balancing accessibility with the maintenance standards expected of a championship course. The combination of historical significance, scenic beauty, and recent improvements has established it as a notable venue in the southwestern golf landscape.
