The Herenmiddag (Gentlemen's Afternoon) is a regular men's individual competition held at Golfclub Westerwolde on Tuesday afternoons from April onwards. The event takes place on 25 August 2026, with a start time of 12:00 for 18 holes (9 holes start at 13:45). Players may choose to play from the Orange, Red, or Yellow tees, which must be specified when booking via NexxChange. The competition is a qualifying event, with the scoring format alternating between strokeplay and stableford on a weekly basis. Entries are made online through the NexxChange booking system and close at 10:00 on the day of the competition. The entry fee is €60 (summer rate season pass) or €2 per individual competition. The event is open to visiting non-member golfers, as the club welcomes guests ("Gasten zijn van harte welkom"). The competition is managed by Henny Rusthoven and Henk Boltjes. The signature hole is the par 4 first hole, a short but difficult design featuring water hazards and an island green.
