Shot in the Dark is a 9-hole scramble competition held at Burke Lake Golf Center on October 16, 2026, starting at 7:00 PM. Teams of two players compete using glow-in-the-dark balls. The entry fee is $125.00 per team, which includes dinner beginning at 6:00 PM, one glow ball, and a flashlight. Additional glow balls are available for $5 each. Prizes are awarded to first, second, and third place teams. The event is open to participants aged 12 and over. Registration is limited to the first 18 teams and opens 45 days prior to the event (September 16, 2026). There is no rain date. Registration can be completed online or by calling 703-323-1641.
