Lions Club Charity Tournament held on Saturday, 5 September 2026 at Golfplatz Maximilianenhof (Oberhessischer Golf-Club Marburg). Format is Texas Scramble (2-player teams) over 18 holes, starting at 11:00 with a cannon start. Open to guest players with a handicap up to +54 per player. Entry requires prior registration, preferably in pairs. A donation fee of EUR 50 per person is requested in advance to support the St. Elisabeth Hospice for a family apartment; donations are tax-deductible. The tournament entry fee is EUR 40 for members and EUR 70 for visitors (guests) per person. Prizes are awarded for 1st place gross, and 1st and 2nd place net in divisions A, B, and C. Additional prizes include Nearest to the Pin (separate for ladies and gentlemen on hole 2) and Nearest to the Beer Keg (hole 14). Prize-giving is scheduled for approximately 17:30 on the terrace or in the clubhouse. The entry fee includes halfway refreshments, dinner, and course supply. Registration closes on Thursday, 3 September 2026 at 17:00. Players may register via the posted list, online, or by phone. Official DGV rules including amateur statutes, the framework regulations, course rules, and special course rules of OHGC apply.
