The GSL NÖ (Senioren Golf Liga Niederösterreich) is a senior golf tournament for players aged 50 and over, held at Golfclub St. Pölten on the Park Course (18 holes). The event is played as a handicap-effective Stableford competition over 18 holes under the official Rules of Golf, ÖGV handicap and playing regulations, and current ÖGV competition recommendations. Players tee off from the yellow (and optionally blue) tees, with starts from Tee 1 and Tee 10 from 9:30 AM. The tournament is open to visiting non-member golfers who are members of the ÖGV or an international golf association, with a maximum handicap of 36. Entry is made through the GSL website (www.gsl-noe.at) via the respective senior captain, with a closing date of 29 August 2026 at 3:00 PM. The entry fee is €80 for guest players (€30 for GC St. Pölten members, €67 for GSL card holders), which includes food (excluding drinks). Maximum field size is 112 golfers. Prizes are awarded for gross winner (yellow tees only), net winner in three approximately equal handicap groups, and net results in age categories: Seniors (50-64), Masters (65-74), and Super-Seniors (75+). Tie-breaks are decided by the better 9 holes based on handicap distribution, then by the 6 most difficult holes, and finally by lot. Special awards include Nearest to the Pin (sponsored by Kalb.nl) and Longest Drive (sponsored by Austro Kalb). Electronic distance measuring devices and multi-function devices such as smartphones are permitted during play in accordance with Rule 4.3.

Golfclub St. Pölten is an 18-hole and 9-hole golf facility located in Neidling, Lower Austria, in the foothills of the Alps. The course features two layouts: the Park Kurs (18 holes) and the Schloss Kurs (9 holes), both offering distinctive characteristics. The setting is notable for its location within the Dunkelstein Forest, providing players with scenic views across the landscape toward the Alpine foothills. The course is designed to deliver an immersive golfing experience that emphasizes natural ambiance and panoramic vistas. The facility includes a practice range and training area, as well as a restaurant (Cafe & Restaurant Goldegg). The club hosts regular tournaments and offers professional instruction through its golf school. The course operates seasonally, with winter closures from late November through early March, and features electric cart facilities and modern amenities including EV charging stations.
