The Srixon Challenge is a monthly individual stableford competition held on the third Wednesday of each month at Mullumbimby Golf Club, open to both men and ladies. The event offers $400 in prizes or vouchers, with the top 5 players each month qualifying for a year-end final. Entry is arranged by contacting the club by phone on 02 6684 2273 or by email. The Wednesday competition day is described as all welcome, and standard club handicap rules apply. The visitor green fee for 18 holes walking is $45.

Mullumbimby hosts regular competitions throughout the week, including ladies competitions, veterans competitions, and members-guest events. The facility features a second-floor clubhouse with bar facilities overlooking the 9th and 18th greens. The club describes itself as "Australia's friendliest golf club" and operates as a public championship course welcoming both members and visitors.
