Located in Mie, Mie Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course designed by Yoten Ota and opened in October 1960. Situated at the foot of Mount Osore, the layout takes advantage of the area's flat terrain to create a spacious and open design. The course measures 6,585 yards from the back tees, with a course rating of 71.7. The fairways are notably wide, making the course accessible for beginners and female golfers, while strategically placed trees add visual traps and strategic depth for more experienced players. The course features a unique double-green system on most holes, offering both right and left pin positions, with the 14th hole being the exception as it has a single green. The greens are surfaced with Bentgrass. The front nine totals 3,307 yards, while the back nine measures 3,278 yards. The par distribution includes five par-5s, nine par-4s, and four par-3s. The 12th hole, known as "Hyakusan Koko" (203rd Highland), is a signature 523-yard par-5 that is recommended for long-drive competitions. The 12th hole is highlighted as a notable challenge, where players must navigate a green that is described as difficult to conquer due to optical illusions. The 15th hole, a 570-yard par-5, is also noted for its length and is another recommended hole for long-drive contests. The course includes a shop located near the 1st, 5th, and 14th holes. Local rules specify that out-of-bounds is marked by white stakes, while lateral water hazards are marked by red stakes. Cart paths are considered part of the road, and specific relief rules apply for artificial surfaces and drainage ditches. Mie Country Club has a history spanning over six decades, having been established in Showa 35 (1960). The club hosts various events, including the 17th Komono Town Golf Tournament and the 52nd Mie Prefecture Golf Saniwa District Tournament.
