The Polar Bear Open is a monthly tournament held at Bear Creek Golf Club in Wentzville, Missouri. The February event takes place on Saturday, February 21st at 10:00 a.m. It is a 2-person scramble format with an entry fee of $80.00 per person. The fee includes green fees and cart, food and beverages after the round, closest-to-the-pin events, and a flighted prize purse (with $14.00 of the entry fee allocated to prizes). An optional BIG CASH Skins Game is also available. Prizes are paid in merchandise gift certificates. Play is optional with a full refund if the temperature is below 40 degrees at tee time. Bear Creek has earned the nickname "The Home of the Grizzly" among local golfers.
