The Big Chill is a 3-person scramble tournament held at Mid Vallee Golf Course on Saturday, October 31, 2026, with a 9:30am shotgun start. Teams book their spots through the course's online tee time booking system (Prime Sign Up). The entry fee is $125 per player ($110 for limited season pass holders, $90 for unlimited pass holders), which includes breakfast served from 8:00-9:00am, complimentary range balls, green fee, cart fee (one cart per team), and prize payout. The event features cash skins games (flighted and overall), a chicken and tips dinner, and tap beer and soda after golf. Prizes are awarded as gift cards. The event is flighted into 4 divisions based on the lowest handicap of the three players. Championship flight plays from the blue tees; all other flights play from the white tees (exception: if age plus handicap equals 85 or more, players may use the gold tees). Women playing on a mixed team use the gold tees; women on an all-women team use the red tees. The event is limited to the first 54 paid teams. All amateurs 18 and older are eligible. A USGA handicap, verified league handicap, or 5 18-hole scorecards are required to enter.
