The 48th Rowes Bay Men's Open is a 36-hole individual strokeplay event held over two days on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August 2026 at Rowes Bay Golf Club, Townsville. The entry fee is $65 per person, which includes ball pools, daily graded nett prizes, and 36-hole graded gross and nett winner and runner-up prizes. The $65 fee applies even if you only play one day. Handicap grades are: A Grade (+6 to 9), B Grade (10-18), C Grade (19-36), with additional trophies for Junior and Senior categories. Nominations close on Sunday 23rd August 2026, with the first 200 nominations accepted. The draw will be released on Thursday 27th August 2026. Members can nominate through the website booking platform; visitors must nominate by contacting the Pro Shop on (07) 4774 1188 ext 1. Each nomination requires name, Golflink number, preferred time, cart booking, and playing partner for cart. Breakfast is available from 6:30 AM. Motorised carts must be booked through the Pro Shop.
