Sportsman's Par - The Golden Ball is an individual par-score competition held at Anglesea Golf Club as part of the 70th Annual Open Week (18-25 October 2026). The event takes place on Wednesday 21 October 2026 with a shotgun start at 12:00 pm. Entry fee is $45 AUD per player, which includes a light BBQ lunch served from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. An official welcome to competitors is held at 6:00 pm in the Clubhouse. The Colonel J. Purdue Trophy is awarded for the best score by a player aged 60 years and over (AGC Members only). This is an Open Week event, open to visiting golfers and non-members.
